On May 5, a historic tram will travel through Amsterdam, telling the story of the February Strike. Tinie IJisberg and her daughter Marjan de Boo will also share the story of their father and grandfather, Joop IJisberg. On the morning of February 25, 1941, he called on his colleagues at the Havenstraat depot to stop work in protest of the persecution of their Jewish fellow citizens. For this, he was arrested in Amsterdam on November 14, 1941, and executed at Soesterberg Air Base on November 19, 1942.
