Chanukkah - An American Tail

Join us Thursday January 2nd for a Hanukkah gathering and lighting of the 8th candle

Join us at the Oy Vey Hanukkah celebration. There will be light, lightness, food, stories and film. We will come together to light the last candle and share some Hanukkah related traditions old and renewed. You do not need any knowledge or a sing-along-song-repertoire to join, just your open-hearted curiosity (and a love of potatoes wouldn’t hurt).

The programme
16:00 Children and their parenting figures are welcome!
16:30 -18:00 Film Screening An American Tail (Dutch Spoken, English subtitles)
18:00 – 18:30 Walk-in + serving of the soup
18:30 – 19:30 lightning of the candles + short stories by Oy Vey members
19:30 – 21:00 Film Screening An American Tail (English with English subtitles)
21:00 – 22:00 Drinks
22:00 – 22:30 Cleaning and closing time

We will serve:
– Soup + bread
– Some drinks
– Sufganiot or oliebollen

You will bring:
– If you can some home made latkes!
– Maybe something to drink
– If you have, a chanoekia + candles
