As the director of C-DEEP, The Center for Devotional, Energy and Ecstatic Practice, she teaches workshops and retreats on chanting, devotional healing, and spiritual community-building. A prolific composer of spiritual music and author of several books—including In the Fever of Love: An Illumination of The Song of Songs—Rabbi Shefa’s teachings draw from Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Islamic, and Native American traditions, making her a true spiritual bridge.
