26 Sept - Kids Sukkot

During Sukkot we remember that Jews wandered around in the desert for 40 years after escaping slavery in Egypt. It is tradition to build a Sukkah, a three-sided hut with a roof made of branches/straw/leaves/reed, and eat (or even sleep!) in the Sukkah.

This year we’re going for some improvised kids fun! Come and join Theo, Amos, Sabine, Elijah and Leo in building a Sukkah, whatever that might look like to you! We’ll gather in a nice little hidden park in Jewish Amsterdam, where kids can roam around, collect sticks and build their own Sukkahs. 

Please bring a picnic-appropriate dish & something to drink to share that we can enjoy in/around the Sukkahs once they are built.
