An Evening with B’Tselem: Ethnic Cleansing in the West Bank

On Thursday April 16th we welcome Dr. Yoav Shemer-Kunz, EU Advocacy Lead of the Israeli human rights organisation B’Tselem. We will speak with one another about the ongoing ethnical cleansing of Palestinians on the West Bank.

Israel’s ethnic cleansing of the West Bank is deepening every day. Unprecedented levels of violence by Israeli settler militias, daily attacks by the Israeli military, and harsh restrictions on Palestinians’ freedom of movement are just some of the mechanisms that create a coercive environment that makes Palestinian lives in the West Bank so unbearable that they are forced to leave their homes.

Since October 2023, 59 Palestinian communities were forcibly transferred this way. The US-Israel attack on Iran is providing a cover for this process to escalate even faster.
