Elul Shofar Morning Ritual
Tekia! Tekia!
The month of Elul is fast approaching – it’s the spiritual warm-up for Rosh HaShana, the Days of Awe, and Yom Kippur – and it’s the minhag in many communities to sing Achat Sha’alti (from Psalm 27) and to hear the shofar. It takes about ten minutes but it’s a powerful way to start the day and to approach the High Holidays.
Join us in singing and hearing the shofar blown (by Lior) every morning (except shabbat) at 09:00 CET.
No previous experience is necessary; you’re welcome to come once, twice, or as many times as you want to. Elul starts on the evening of the 13th of August, the first gathering will be on Friday the 14th.
If you’d like to join the zoom Elul event, please fill in the sign-up form below – we will send you the zoom-link.
