My Polish Honeymoon

Anna and Adam, a young Parisian couple of Jewish descent, are about to travel to Poland for the first time. They have just married, and this will be a sort of honeymoon. They will attend a ceremony in memory of the Jewish community in Adam’s grandfather’s village, which was destroyed 75 years ago. Adam is not particularly enthusiastic but sees it as an opportunity to spend quality time with his wife, away from their son. Anna, on the other hand, is both extremely anxious and quite excited about the trip to her grandmother’s homeland. She hopes to reconnect with her roots and finally discover more about the history of her own family, which has always been a mystery.
