This interactive workshop brings together three dimensions of the shofar experience:

•⁠ ⁠Mastery & Technique:
Learn the fundamentals of playing the shofar, including breath control, embouchure, sound production, and technique. Participants will practice the traditional calls, Tekiah, Shevarim, and Teruah, with an emphasis on producing a clear, confident sound.

•⁠ ⁠Ancient Ritual Meets Modern Music:
Explore the shofar beyond its familiar synagogue setting. Through musical experimentation, discover how its unique voice can interact with traditional liturgical melodies and Jewish musical heritage.

•⁠ ⁠Spiritual Awakening & Sound Journey:
Immerse yourself in a meaningful sound experience that weaves together shofar soundscapes, High Holiday themes of reflection and renewal, and traditional Jewish folk heritage. The workshop offers an opportunity to listen, create, reflect, and connect through sound in a welcoming community setting.

No previous experience playing the shofar or singing is required.
