Unfortunately, our Rosh Hashanah event is at capacity and the waitlist is full. We look forward to welcoming you at our other High Holidays gatherings, such as Yom Kippur and Simchat Torah.

Oy Vey and the Uilenburgersjoel are inviting you to join us in ushering in the year 5786 in an immersive way. Rosh Hashana – the Jewish New year of years* – is an entry point into the magical ancestral portal of transformation that we call the High Holidays. So, let’s get high on ritual and gather together to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.

• Time: 18.00 – 22.00 
• Location: Uilenburgersjoel in Amsterdam

The evening will consist of a Rosh Hashanah ceremony followed by a (vegan) dinner in the most beautiful shul in Amsterdam. 

Rosh Hashanah falls on the 1st day of the Jewish month of Tishrei, which will be at sunset on Monday evening the 22nd of September 2025. Join us for a dinner and ceremony at the Uilenburgersjoel in Amsterdam – sign up below. 

We welcome everyone, Jewish, Jew-ish, not Jewish beloveds and friends – all age groups, all budgets, all backgrounds and all levels of familiarity with Jewish ritual.

Oy Vey is working to become a self-sustaining community. This is why we ask for a contribution for our gatherings. This event costs around 55eu per participant. Pay what you like/can to support Oy Vey and our community. Don’t let a contribution be a barrier to joining us. You are welcome whether you can pay or not.
