“Oy Vey is everything I imagined in a Jewish community and nothing I’ve seen before.”

An Oy Vey volunteer summed up what many of us were thinking when he said those words. And over 150 of you have already backed this up with a donation to Oy Vey’s campaign to pay the rent for our exciting new space in the heart of Amsterdam. Those donations have edged us over the halfway point towards our goal of €30,000. We couldn’t be more grateful!

For those interested in contributing time and ideas, we invite you to fill out this short 3-min survey. This is your invitation to be part of imagining and creating a lively Jewish community in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. The survey invites your ideas, priorities, and hopes for what Oy Vey could offer in the coming years, from programming to how the space itself is designed. Your responses will be reviewed and used to inform board-level decisions and Oy Vey’s long-term planning, including what we choose to focus on and invest in. While we may not be able to act on every idea, where there is significant interest—especially around specific events or initiatives—we will reach back out to collaborate with you to help turn those ideas into reality.

Discussions are in The Hague, beginning at 12 and lasting about 2.5 hours.

We have three sessions coming up in January, February, and March.

On Jan 18 we have will be discussing texts on the theme: Britain Screws Things Up
