Tashlich in the city

Join us for this meaningful gathering in a safe outdoor environment. Tashlich is the Jewish ritual of throwing one’s sins away by tossing bread into the ocean – or in this case, the Amstel river.

We believe this ancient ritual is not only still relevant, but also a tangible, compelling way to self-reflect and set yourself up for success in the new year.

Tashlich is usually performed on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. If the first day of Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat, Tashlich is done on the second day of Rosh Hashanah.
