Yom Kippur Grief Ceremony

This Yom Kippur as many synagogues are closed we were looking for ways to be able to gather in a smaller fashion and spend the day in community.

Grief is an important element of this day. Reckoning with our own mortality. The given that life is not without end. And the awareness of this can infuse our lives with kavana – intention.

As we embrace and explore grief as an integral part of life, we spend this Yom Kippur together.
