As we journey into the High Holidays and approach Yom Kippur we could all use some quiet inner time to prepare us for this special moment in the Jewish calendar. The days of awe, the introspection, the recreating of the world anew – these are not merely creative individual processes, but also collective ones within a community. We realize more than ever that due to Covid so many of the collective gatherings around the High Holidays in traditional settings have been cancelled.
And so we are grateful to offer this pre-Yom Kippur yoga gathering.
Our teacher, Seth Kamphuijs, has been practicing a special kind of yoga -Yoga of Abraham – since 2011 and has been teaching it since 2015. It is an ancient practice of peace for all. By forming the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, you enter into a consciousness-state of time, space and being. Combined with the transmitted breathing technique during your practice, you align yourself with Creation and all that is.
